Growing is Essential
Pertaining to God Ministries is dedicated to the uplifting of the body of Christ. We are not here to represent any particular church, or organization. We are not here to solicit any monies for anything. This is a word ministry here on the World Wide Web. We hope to help, as workers together with Christ, to build the lives of the saints through encouragement and exhortation of the word of God. Here we pray that you will find spiritual food that will cause you to grow in matters pertaining to God, salvation, the truth of God's word, and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. This spiritual food (soul food) is found in the word of God. Knowing this we endeavor to share the word of God here with you to that end.
Growth Through Bible Truth
We pray that the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven will open your understanding more and more to the truth of God's word. For the more truth of God's word that you come to know, and is able to apply, and to make a part of your life the more you will come to be transformed into the dynamic image of our Lord Jesus Christ in character, in godly wisdom, and in the power of his kingdom, and a living witness of his truth to an unbelieving world.
Act On The Truth
Pertaining to God Ministries is here to stimulate grow in trust and confidence in the Lord. We hope to provoke one to action, and to cause one step out on the Word. For the Lord is with us, and his Spirit is in us; and he does guide into all truth. Pertaining to God Ministries is here to help you to gain any victories that is already yours through the death, burial, and resurrection, and heavenly ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ presently is sitting on the throne of God in heaven above all power and authority, but his Spirit is here. He is our Comforter (help along the side). "I will not leave you comfort less: I will come to you." St. John 14:18. The Word of God admonishes us, for our own good, to "put on Christ," and to be "transformed by the renewing of our mind," and to "resist the devil." The overcoming power and authority comes from being in Christ, and Christ in us; and also knowing who we are in him, and what we have in him.
Victory Is In The New Life
This is not a revamped old life that we have with Christ, but a brand new one. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Cor. 5: 17 "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled the world unto himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation." vs 18.
This is a brand new life that is only obtained by faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. For that work opened the door of heaven to the kingdom of God. It opened the door that the Spirit of God could be poured out, and that man could be brought into the fellowship and kingdom of God. Read Jeremiah 31: 31-34; Joel 2:28; Acts 2:14-18. Yes, it is through being born again spiritually by the Holy Ghost that one enters into the life and kingdom of God. Here is a very important question: "Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed." Acts 19:2.
The New Life Is Having The Spirit
This new life comes from having the Spirit of God abiding in you. That's the change. That's the difference. That's the power. That's where the true fellowship of God is. "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." St. John 4:24. This is not a Sunday morning fellowship. He is not coming into our lives on Sunday before church, and is going out of our lives after church. This is a permanent, everyday, every hour fellowship with him. "...for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." ST. John 14:17. Christ has promised not to just be with us, but to be in us. He is always present. Also, his Spirit can only change us by being in us as a part of us. Let us seek to be filled by his Spirit. The Holy Ghost is for all believers in all generation until the return of Christ for his Church. " ...and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you , and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Acts 2:38-39 If we are called of God to salvation in Christ, the Holy Ghost is a promise for us. He wants to be closer than close to us.
Must Be Born Into It
The promise land of the believer can not be entered into by any human efforts. God's kingdom of promise is entered into by an act of his Spirit. He baptizes us into it; and it is demonstrated in all truth, goodness, and righteousness. Let no man despise you. Trust the word, and have confidence in God.
